Vegas is filled with so many unique things to do and see, including the City’s dining scene. Not only is Vegas considered one of the best foodie cities in United States, it is also home to the most celebrity restaurants. Whether you’re looking for the best celebrity-owned spots, the best restaurants for groups in Las Vegas after a long day at IMEX America, or the best restaurants to experience local cuisine, we’ve got you covered. Check out our guide to the four best restaurants in Las Vegas to check out in September while you’re at the show.

The 4 Best Restaurants in Las Vegas

1. Buddy V’s

If you’re travelling to IMEX America this September and looking for quality Italian food without having to leave the Sands Expo at the Venetian, then Buddy V’s is the place for you! Located inside the Venetian, Buddy V’s is TLC’s “Cake Boss”, celebrity baker and chef, Buddy Valastro’s restaurant. Buddy’s upscale, fun Italian restaurant features classic dishes, like Sunday Gravy, Parm, and Lisa V’s Linguine & White Clam Sauce.

“We’re still serving up the classics,” Buddy says about his restaurant in an exclusive interview with Stova, “Of course we offer up trendy recipes and designs but when you walk in our doors, you know you’re going to get something classic created with the best, all-natural ingredients.”

If you’re looking for a “sweet” way to end your night, be sure to try Buddy’s signature Carlo’s Bakery treats, like the Lobster Tail Pastry or his famous Cannoli.

“I love making lobster tails,” Buddy says, “It’s incredibly involved and complicated. Making sfogliatelle pastry can get so difficult I’ve seen people cry, I swear – but I like it! It makes me think of my dad and I love knowing people are enjoying a truly hand-crafted recipe.”

2. Gordon Ramsay Burger

Are you a burger lover? Then you’ll have to stop by celebrity chef’s Gordon Ramsay’s Burger restaurant located in Planet Hollywood, Las Vegas. Located 1.5 miles from IMEX America, this casual burger joint is the only restaurant on the Strip to cook its burgers by hard woods over an open flame.

Some of the most popular menu items include the Ultimate Cheeseburger, Sweet Potato Fries coated with vanilla powdered sugar, the Sticky Toffee Ice Cream Sandwich, and $15 beer flights.

Reservations for Gordon Ramsay Burger are only taken for parties of 14 or more.

3. Locale

Former executive chef of Eataly and leader of the dry-aging steak program at (now closed) Carnevinoin Vegas, Nicole Brisson has opened an Italian restaurant of her own, Locale Italian Kitchen.

Located off the Vegas strip in Mountain’s Edge, only 12 miles from Sands Expo Center for IMEX America attendees, Locale offers guests a 72-seat dining room, a 30-seat patio, and a 9-person indoor bar.

Brisson’s menu pays a particularly focus to Italian meats, pizzas, and pastas. In addition, the restaurant sources all its ingredients from local American farms.

“Eventually, I would like to have a fresh pasta, dry pasta, and extruded pasta program,” Brisson says in an interview with Food & Wine.

Some of the menu’s most highlighted dishes include the pollo al forno, mussles al forno, prosciutto arugula pizze, and the pici carrietiera primi.

If you’re interested in dining at Locale for brunch or dinner you can book reservations here.

4. Sparrow + Wolf

Regarded as one of the best, off-Strip restaurants in Las Vegas to visit in the fall due to its seasonal-inspired dishes, Sparrow + Wolf is located two miles from the Sands Expo Center for IMEX attendees. In addition to being conveniently close to IMEX America, head chef of Sparrow + Wolf, Brian Howard was recently awarded Chef of the Year for his work at the “valley’s most interesting restaurant”.

“Opening a restaurant has been an incredible journey,” Howard says, “An adventure of many tales, but the most important one, was when I found my true spirit, who I really am as a cook, a friend, and a father. To be humble foragers who take care of our families and not need to have the loudest voice in the room to be heard, but to be the hunter, the provider and just a bit ferocious when need be…that is the energy we bring to the table nightly.”

Sparrow + Wolf features American cuisine influenced by Howard’s upbringing and travels.

“We are all about balancing the old with the new,” Howard says, “Cooking in synergy with the seasons and most importantly, getting back to genuine neighborhood hospitality.”
